Chelmsford Fireworks

The two Round Tables, Tindal and Chelmsford have been working together for over thirty years organising the only charity Fireworks event in Chelmsford. The display takes place in Admirals Park by Rainsford Road which is conveniently located in the centre of Chelmsford and offers unrivalled views for those attending.

The display always takes place on the first Saturday in November with the first firework being launched at 7:30pm. This year (2006) we spent around Ł8,000 giving a crowd of 10,000 spectators an amazing pyrotechnic display of dazzling colours and deafening explosions lasting approximately 25 minutes.

In addition to the fun of the Fireworks we open the gates to park at 6pm to give our guests the thrills and spills of the fair and if your hungry access to hot and cold drinks, hot dogs, burgers, ice cream, toffee apples, novelties and much more. As if that wasn’t enough more amusement is provided by Essex FM with their Road show showcasing local talent and giving the Essex FM DJ’s the chance to do what they do best, entertain the crowds.

This fireworks event is run solely as a way of raising money to give to local charities. All money raised from the event goes straight back to the community in supporting local people, schools, organisations and anybody who is in need of a help no matter how large or small. We regularly raise in around Ł10,000 and with this amount of money we feel we can really make a difference.

This event is the primary fund raising event for Round Table in Chelmsford with the other one being the Santa Sleigh so if you are reading this with a view to joining Tindal or simply attending the event you are most welcome.
